Ginkgo, also named maidenhair-tree, is known the world over as a beautiful ancient species and is admired for its fan-shaped, linear-veined foliage. A special touch of class is its Variegata clone. This slowly growing, compact and highly ornamental bushy selection has irregular streaks of yellow or white on green leaves. This is an award winner and a conversation piece for the collector of unusual plants. Ginkgo will grow in all but the very worst soils and is hardy. Ideal for patio of front garden. Can also be grown as a bonsai. Its height after 10 years of growth is 150 cm and can reach 2.5 - 3 m in maturity.
